The Canyons Village real estate area is one of two base areas at Park City Mountain Resort. Park City Mountain Resort is North America’s largest ski resort with over 7,300 acres of exceptional ski terrain, lots of natural hiking and mountain biking trails, and gourmet dining at 8,000 feet. Canyons Village features the Orange Bubble Express chair with heated seats and an orange weather-protecting bubble cover (first of this kind in North America!), along with the Red Pine Gondola and Sunrise Chairlift – soon to be a 10-passenger gondola. A European-style ski beach with sun loungers and firepits and a stage for live music guarantees fun apres-ski. Canyons Resort used to be its own ski resort before it was acquired by Vail Resorts in 2015. Vail allows for both skiers and snowboarders.

In the summer several hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails connect you to over 400 miles of surrounding mountain trails including the acclaimed 26-mile long ‘Mid-Mountain’ trail. The Canyons Village offers restaurants, scenic gondola rides, mini golf, a free spring and summer concert series, a scenic 18-hole championship golf course. Canyons Village is the perfect year-round resort destination.

The Upper Canyons Village consists of world-class lodging opportunities including Apex Residences, Vintage on the Strand, Lift, Hyatt Centric, Sundial Lodge, Silverado, Westgate, Pendry Hotel & Residences, Ridge, and the budget-friendly Yotelpad. Fractional ownership along with some full-ownership residences are available at The Grand Summit Hotel – a Rock Resort. A fractional share consists of 13 weeks. Most of the condos for sale in the Upper Canyons Village offer ski-in ski-out access.

The Lower Canyons Village still offers easy ski access via the cabriolet or the Frostwood Gondola. Condo developments include the Waldorf Astoria, Juniper Landing, Timber Wolf Lodge, and Hotel Ascent. Townhomes are available at Fairway Springs Golf & Ski Villas, Frostwood, Viridian, White Pine Canyon Village, and Canyon Residences. Residences at Blackstone, Hidden Creek, and Red Pine offer a mix of condominiums and townhomes.

The Canyons Village is 34 miles from the Salt Lake International Airport and 22 miles from the Heber City private airport.

The Canyons ski area is only a short drive from Old Town. The free Park City transit system offers a direct connection and is free. Some lodges offer shuttle service into town as well.
