Currently under construction, the NHL-sized indoor ice rink and Event Center is set to open fall of 2025. It will be the new practice facility for the Utah Outliers. Future plans also include a seasonal outdoor rink. The Event Center is designed to host concerts, comedy shows, conferences, and hockey tournaments, to help drive year-round visitor traffic and increase rental income potential for property owners.

Both long-term and nightly rentals are allowed at Black Rock Mountain Resort.
Black Rock Mountain Resort is dog-friendly. Two domestic pets are allowed. Some restrictions may apply.
The HOA dues include high-speed internet, cable, water, sewer, trash, 1 underground parking space, snow removal, landscaping as well as common area maintenance and exterior building insurance. Owners are responsible for power, gas, personal insurance, and property taxes.
The Onyx membership is available to owners at Black Rock Mountain Resort, Black Rock Ridge, and local residents. Membership costs vary by length and number of people. Members can access to the year-round heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, fitness center, sauna, and steam room.
Although Black Rock Mountain Resort is closer to Park City, it is situated in Wasatch County and is considered part of Heber City for tax purposes, and Kamas for mailing purposes.
