Upon completion, Deer Valley® will boast 5,726 acres of skier-only terrain, positioning it alongside Park City Mountain Resort, which offers 7,300 acres.
According to local news outlets, 3,100 acres of the ski terrain are under a conservation easement managed by Utah Open Lands. This effort aims to connect trails in the Bonanza Flats area with those in Wasatch Mountain State Park, creating over 50 miles of trails.

Cormont at Deer Valley: Cormont is anticipated to offer approximately 300 unbranded condominiums with a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom floorplans. East Village – formerly known as Mayflower Mountain Resort – is situated at Jordanelle Reservoir just outside of Park City, Utah. It is located a 40-minute drive from the Salt Lake International Airport and 20 minutes from the private airport in Heber City.
The convenient location of East Village provides easy access to watersports, Park City golf courses, and several public courses in Heber City and Midway, hiking, biking, and exploration of the backcountry in the Unita National Forest or Wasatch Mountain State Park.
Deer Valley East Village is skier-only, consistent with Deer Valley Resort®’s longstanding policy. Snowboarding is not permitted.
Anyone looking for ski access that allows for both skiers and snowboarders needs to focus their search on properties near Park City Mountain Resort. Park City Mountain has two village areas, one in Old Town and one at Canyons Village. Another access point can be found near Silver Star in Thaynes Canyon.
East Village is opening in phases. As of 2026, most ski lifts are installed and operational. The Grand Hyatt opened in late 2024, while select homes at Marcella are under construction and nearing completion.
