Mayflower Resort Renamed Deer Valley East Village

The New Deer Valley East Village

Deer Valley Resort and Extell Development Company just disclosed that the name for their new base village and portal will be East Village. This announcement comes after the agreement that Deer Valley Resort will oversee the management of the new Mayflower ski resort area and incorporate its terrain.

East Village is conveniently located along U.S. Route 40 and will provide an additional entry point for Deer Valley guests. Developed by Extell Development Company in collaboration with Deer Valley Resort, Deer Valley East Village is expected to feature:

  • A state-of-the-art skier service facility. This facility will be home to a Children’s Creative Center with ski school and daycare, rentals, retail, and dining options.
  • 1,200 new parking spaces dedicated for day-skier use, which is expected to improve accessibility to the resort and help reduce traffic in the town of Park City.
  • A 60,000 square feet public Recreation Center will feature a pool, fitness center, movement studio, tennis and ball courts.
  • A Community ice rink surrounded by restaurants and retail shops.
  • Outdoor amphitheater
  • A Membership-only private mountain club
  • North America’s largest ski beach
  • On-mountain dining facilities and warming huts
  • Other features are planned but not finalized. Those include but are not limited to Alpine and Nordic Skiing tracks, an Alpine Coaster, sledding hills, an off-road bicycle “pump track”, a skate park, a miniature golf course, and zip-line tours

 

The Deer Valley – Mayflower Expansion, will add over 3,700 acres of new ski terrain to Deer Valley Resort, including 16 new chairlifts and a 10-passenger gondola. This expansion will connect Deer Valley’s existing terrain with the new terrain. The majority of the new terrain will open in the 2025/2026 winter season, and upon completion, Deer Valley will offer over 5,726 acres of skiable terrain accessed by 37 chairlifts serving 238 ski runs.

Real Estate at Deer Valley East Village

In addition to the incredible terrain, Deer Valley East Village’s expansion will also include over 800 hotel rooms, nearly 1,700 residential units, and 250,000 square feet of retail space. 

Deer Valleys East Village currently offers real estate opportunities at the Grand Hyatt, Velvaere, Marcella, and Pioche Village. Two additional five-star hotels are in design by renowned architects and are expected to break ground this summer along with residential condominiums similar to Empire Residences.

Marcella - A Ski & Golf Community

Marcella is a ski and golf community that will consist of two different communities, one located slopeside at East Village, and another gated golf community east of the Jordanelle Reservoir. 

The homesites at Marcella East Village are located slope-side. Owners will have access to on-mountain ski lounges, private clubhouses, pools, restaurants, a helipad, and a boat dock at Jordanelle Reservoir. A golf membership will allow owners to access two private golf courses. Tiger Woods will design the first of two golf courses. Lot prices start at $2.5m.

The Residences at The Grand Hyatt

The Grand Hyatt offers 55 private residences ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms. This hotel will be the first one completed in East Village and is expected to open in the end of 2024.

Velvaere - A Ski-in Ski-Out Wellness Community

Velvaere will be a 60-acre wellness community with direct ski-in ski-out access, year-round mountain adventure, an integrative wellness center, and a family adventure center. There will be 115 custom residences of which will be 12 cabins starting around $4 million; 68 residences around $5 million; and 35 custom estates starting around $12 million. Floor plans will range from cozy three bedrooms to spacious five bedrooms. Each residence will feature a wellness experience based on the owner’s choice. There will be options to include in-home light therapy, plunge pools, saunas, steam rooms, and more. The first homes are set to be completed in early 2024.

Amenities will include a full-service restaurant, après ski beach, gear storage, and an outdoor pool with hot tub.

Pioche Village

Pioche Village is conveniently situated near the Deer Valley Resort Jordanelle Express Gondola, below Deer Crest, and close to the Mayflower base area of Deer Valley Resort. This charming village comprises four buildings and offers over 400 condos. The majority of these condos are studios and one-bedroom residences, ranging from 410 to 750 square feet. There are also some 2-bedroom condos available. All residences are sold furnished. Amenities include unassigned parking, a fitness room, laundry facilities, a hot tub, a steam room, ski storage, an arcade, and more. Studios start in the mid $ 400k, while 1-bedroom condos start at $700,000.

Founders Place - Luxury Resort Residences

Founders Place is located in Deer Crest and close to East Village. The developer has broken ground for the new ski-in ski-out development in Deer Crest. Two larger residences are still available in phase 2. Contact us to be notified when Phase 3 gets released.

The Mason

The Lodge at Stillwater is undergoing a major renovation, and two additional buildings will be added. Completion is anticipated for Q4 of 2024. The two new buildings will offer 60 new residences. 1, 2, and 3-bedroom floor plans are available. Amenities will include an updated pool area with a waterfall, Jacuzzis, steam room, sauna, a restaurant, and parking garage. Prices range from the upper $500,000s to $1.8m.  

Mayflower Lakeside - Condominiums & Townhomes

Mayflower Lakeside is located between East Village and the Jordanelle Marina and State Park entrance. It comprises a mix of stacked condominiums and townhomes. Like most of the properties in this part of the Jordanelle, a Dial-Ride shuttle is expected to connect homeowners and guests to Deer Valley’s East Village.

The 2-bedroom condos start at approximately $900,000 and the spacious townhomes start at $1.89m. 

Sage Hen - New Construction Townhomes

Sage Hen by Hamlet Homes is a small townhome development located at the scenic Jordanelle Reservoir. Sage Hen boasts a prime location for outdoor enthusiasts and luxury living. New construction townhomes starts at $1.8m.

SkyRidge - Golf & Equestrian Close to Skiing

Skyridge features 473 premier homesites and amenities will include a golf academy, an equestrian center, a clubhouse with a pool, and a restaurant.

The golf course will be a 3-hole mountain course that can also be played as a 9-hole, par-3 course. The equestrian center will include indoor and outdoor arenas, as well as a 32-stall barn. Skyridge allows nightly rentals with a 3-night minimum. A dial-a-ride shuttle system is proposed to connect owners to Mayflower Resort and Deer Valley.
