Homes in the Snow Top subdivision are easily accessible from Lower Deer Valley. They have breathtaking views but without direct ski access due to their elevated location.

In 2019, Deer Crest made headlines with the sale of its most expensive home to date. The 20,000-square-foot home was listed for $25 million and offered a pool, hot tub, waterfall, indoor sports court, theater, and even a bowling alley.

Deer Crest Club

Property owners in Deer Crest can join the prestigious Deer Crest Club. A membership offers access to exclusive amenities at St. Regis Deer Valley. Many owners join the club to have access to shuttle service to/from their homes to St Regis. Owners can store their skis in lockers and utilize the ski valet and amenities at St Regis.

Location

Deer Crest is located approximately one mile from downtown Park City, Utah. The gated community of Deer Crest sits adjacent to the new Deer Valley East Village – formerly known as Mayflower Mountain Resort. Deer Crest Estates can be accessed via two gates – from either Lower Deer Valley or the Mayflower Exit off Highway 40 at Lake Jordanelle. Residents have easy access to both in-town entertainment and shopping, as well as an abundance of outdoor activities on the lakeside, including boating and more.

The Salt Lake International Airport is a 35-minute highway-only ride with no traffic lights. The private airport in Heber City is a short 12-mile drive. Park City is America’s most accessible mountain recreation destination.

    Not every property in Deer Crest has ski-in ski-out access.

    The spacious Deer Pointe townhomes are connected to the slopes via a private funicular, and the homes in the Snow Top subdivision do not have ski access due to their elevation.  

    Deer Crest property owners can join the Deer Crest Club which offers shuttle service between their home and St. Regis.  

    The Jordanelle Express Gondola and Mountaineer Express chairlift are located within the Deer Crest real estate area. 

    In 2024 Deer Valley Resort announced the expansion of their terrain into the Mayflower Resort area. This will add thousands of acres of new skiable terrain along with new ski lifts to that mountainside. The ski village will feature one of the largest ski beaches in the country, ice rinks, private ski clubs, a wellness center, new condominiums, 4 and 5-star hotels, restaurants, and more.

    Nightly rentals are allowed at St. Regis Deer Valley and Founders Place.

    Single-family homes in Deer Crest shall not be rented for less than 5 days with a maximum of 15 weekly rentals per calendar year. More information can be found in the CC & R’s of the Deer Crest HOA.

    Park City offers several gated ski-in ski-out communities. Most of them are within the Deer Valley real estate area. 

    Gated communities with ski access to Deer Valley Resort – a skier-only resort- include Bald Eagle Club and Knoll Estates in Upper Deer Valley, Marcella at the new East Village, and Red Cloud in Empire Pass.

    The only gated ski community that allows for both skiers and snowboarders is the Colony at White Pine Canyon. The Colony Park City is situated within the boundaries of Park City Mountain Resort near the Canyons Village base area. It features luxury homes on some of the largest ski-in ski-out homesites in the country.

    Luxury ski lodges and condominium hotels with prime ski access include Pendry Park City, Montage Deer Valley, Argent, St Regis Deer Valley, Stein Eriksen Lodge, Grand Lodge, and Sommet Blanc Deer Valley which is still under construction.
