A new chapter in luxury golf has arrived in the Park City area. On July 1, Marcella Club celebrates the opening of Skyline, the first mountain golf course ever designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design. Located at Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge, just east of Park City overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir, Deer Valley® Resort, and the scenic Wasatch Mountain range Skyline is one of the most anticipated private golf course openings in the Mountain West.
From the award-winning courses at Promontory and Glenwild to the riverfront fairways of Victory Ranch and the Talisker Club experience at Tuhaye, Park City offers one of the finest collections of private golf communities in the Mountain West. Whether you’re searching for championship golf, a four-season club lifestyle, or luxury golf real estate, here’s everything you need to know about Park City’s premier golf communities.
Tiger Woods' First Mountain Course
Skyline represents an important milestone for Tiger Woods’ golf architecture firm, TGR Design. While Tiger has designed acclaimed courses around the world—including Payne’s Valley in Missouri and El Cardonal in Mexico—Skyline is his first golf course built in a true mountain environment. The routing follows natural ridgelines and valleys rather than forcing the landscape, creating a memorable golf experience that embraces Utah’s terrain.
Despite its championship pedigree, Skyline is not intended to host PGA Tour events. Instead, the focus is on creating an exceptional private member experience that balances strategic architecture with playability for golfers of varying abilities.
More Than One Championship Course
Upon completion, Marcella Club will feature three distinct golf experiences.
Skyline by Tiger Woods & TGR Design
Opening July 1, Skyline is the club’s signature championship course and Tiger Woods’ first mountain golf course.
Ambush by King Collins Dormer
Currently under construction, Ambush will become Marcella’s second championship course. Designed by acclaimed golf architects King Collins Dormer, the course is expected to contrast Skyline with a different architectural philosophy emphasizing strategy, creativity, and natural landforms.
Tiger Woods Short Course
Marcella will also feature a family-friendly short course designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design.
Perfect for families, beginners, junior golfers, and quick afternoon rounds, the short course is designed to be fun and approachable while maintaining the same level of architectural quality found throughout the club. During the winter months, the course will transform into a sledding hill, reflecting Marcella’s commitment to year-round recreation.
Together, Skyline, Ambush, and the Tiger Woods short course will create one of the most complete private golf experiences in North America.
A Private Club Developed by Reef Capital Partners
Marcella is being developed by Reef Capital Partners, the Utah-based development company behind several of the state’s most recognizable luxury destinations, including:
• Black Desert Resort in St. George
• Marcella Landing at Deer Valley
Rather than being centered around golf alone, Marcella is creating a four-season, multi-location private club lifestyle with amenities spanning Jordanelle Ridge, Deer Valley® East Village, Historic Main Street Park City, and future club facilities.
Members enjoy access to golf, skiing, private clubhouses, luxury dining, fitness facilities, wellness programming, family recreation, social events, and exclusive experiences throughout the Marcella Club network.
Membership Is Exclusively Tied to Real Estate Ownership
Unlike many private clubs that sell memberships independently, Marcella Golf & Ski Memberships are tied directly to real estate ownership within Marcella at Deer Valley and Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge.
Today, all Golf & Ski Memberships are sold out, making home and homesite ownership the only opportunity to gain access to Skyline, Ambush, the Tiger Woods short course, private ski amenities, clubhouses, dining, wellness facilities, and the club’s growing collection of exclusive member experiences.
Where Is Marcella Jordanelle Ridge?
Marcella Jordanelle Ridge occupies one of the highest ridgelines overlooking Jordanelle Reservoir, just minutes from Deer Valley® East Village, approximately 20 minutes from Historic Main Street Park City and about 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
The community features luxury homesites surrounded by protected open space with panoramic views stretching across Deer Valley, the Wasatch Mountains, Heber Valley and the Uinta Mountains.
Golf Communities Near Park City
Park City has become one of the premier mountain golf destinations in the western United States. Here’s a look at the area’s most prestigious golf communities.

Promontory Club
One of the largest private golf communities in Park City, Promontory features two championship courses—the Pete Dye Canyon Course and the Jack Nicklaus Painted Valley Course—along the Hills par-3 course, golf academy, family amenities, multiple clubhouses, equestrian facilities, beach club, spa, restaurants, and more than 7,000 acres of luxury real estate including custom homes, cabins, villas, and homesites.

Glenwild Golf Club
Home to a Tom Fazio-designed championship course, Glenwild is consistently ranked among Utah’s top private golf clubs. As Park City’s first gated golf community, Glenwild remains true to its golf-first roots while offering an elegant clubhouse, spa, fitness center, and luxury custom homes on spacious estate lots.

Tuhaye
Located approximately 15 minutes from Park City, Tuhaye features a Mark O’Meara-designed championship course overlooking Jordanelle Reservoir. As part of Talisker Club, members also enjoy exclusive access to private amenities in Empire Pass, Historic Main Street, and the Backcountry Outpost, making it one of the area’s most comprehensive four-season club experiences.

Victory Ranch
Located about 30 minutes east of Park City, Victory Ranch combines a spectacular Rees Jones-designed championship golf course with more than 4,000 acres of private backcountry. The community is known for its outdoor lifestyle, offering world-class fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, sporting clays, and luxury homes, cabins, and expansive homesites.

Red Ledges
Located in nearby Heber City, Red Ledges features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, the renowned Jim McLean Golf School, and a family-friendly Golf Park. Members also enjoy tennis, pickleball, equestrian facilities, wellness amenities, and a growing collection of luxury homes, cottages, villas, and homesites.

Park Meadows Country Club
Located in the heart of Park City, Park Meadows Country Club is a private club surrounded by one of the city’s most established residential neighborhoods rather than a gated golf community. Its walkable championship course, central location, and proximity to skiing, shopping, restaurants, and Historic Main Street make it a favorite among full-time residents.

Located near Deer Valley® East Village and Jordanelle Reservoir, SkyRidge offers a golf-focused lifestyle centered around the innovative Par 3 Golf Park, putting course, practice facilities, and the Par 3 Clubhouse. While not a traditional private golf community, SkyRidge combines luxury homes and homesites with convenient access to skiing, boating, hiking, and golf.
