Homestead Golf Course Changes Name

Utah Golf Course Real EstateWith summer just around the corner, Homestead Resort golf course in Midway, Utah is changing its name to Crater Springs Golf Course. Along with the new name and logo, it will also offer many new features for golf lovers. The resort’s course wants to become one of the premiere golf courses in the state and will add water features, including streams and fountains, and realign the tee boxes. The water features will use the natural mineral water from the nearby crater, adding a stream that allows it to run from Fanny’s Pond past the 10th tee to empty into ponds that will be constructed between the 9th and 18th greens. From there the natural mineral water will cascade down, with the main addition being a waterfall that empties into the two ponds in front of the two greens.

The new name and logo are officially launching at the end of April, and renovations are anticipated to be complete in the first half of the summer. The rooms and guest services at the resort have been updated this past winter.
