Deer Crest is one of the most exclusive gated ski-in ski-out communities in Park City, Utah. Nestled along the eastern slopes of Deer Valley® Resort, the community is known for its luxury ski properties and panoramic views of the Jordanelle Reservoir.
While best known for large custom ski homes, it also offers luxury condominiums, townhomes, full-service branded residences, and newer slopeside properties. The options vary considerably in size, ski access, amenities, services, and overall ownership experience.
Deer Crest stretches from the Snow Park and Lower Deer Valley side of the mountain toward Jordanelle Reservoir and Deer Valley® East Village. Two gated entrances provide access from either side, making it convenient to reach both Park City and the growing East Village/Jordanelle area.
Deer Crest’s condominium and townhome options include St. Regis Deer Valley, Founders Place, The Havens at Deer Crest, Deer Crest Village, and Deer Pointe. The addition of Founders Place and The Havens has expanded the selection in recent years, with residences now ranging from approximately 1,800-square-foot condominiums to townhomes averaging around 6,000 square feet. Most condos in the Deer Crest community feature ski-in ski-out access as well as spectacular panoramic views of Bald Mountain and the Jordanelle Reservoir.
Deer Pointe is located on Harmony Drive and consists of just 12 large luxury townhomes averaging approximately 6,000 square feet and generally offering four- and five-bedroom floor plans.
Deer Pointe does not offer direct ski-in/ski-out access. Instead, owners have convenient access to Deer Valley’s ski terrain via a private funicular.
Deer Crest Village puts you into the Deer Crest community at the best price point. Deer Crest Village sits just outside the private gates of Deer Crest Estates. The smaller, more traditional ski-in ski-out condominium residences offer approximately 2,300 to 2,800 square feet of living space with three and four-bedroom floor plans.
Founders Place is a newer ski-in/ski-out condominium development at the base of Mountaineer Express. The community features contemporary mountain residences and The Polly, a central amenity building with a pool, hot tub, fitness facilities, ski lounge, café, and game spaces.
The Havens at Deer Crest is a new collection of 32 slopeside townhomes being developed by East West Partners. The residences are positioned along the Jordanelle ski run near the base of the Jordanelle Gondola.
St. Regis Deer Valley is the largest hotel and condominium development in Deer Crest. It offers 26 turnkey private residences with one to six-bedroom floorplans combined with exceptional full-service hotel amenities and services. Its location above Snow Park provides ski access to Deer Valley and a funicular connection between the resort and the lower base area.
Ski access is one of Deer Crest’s defining features, but “ski access” is not the same at every development. Founders Place sits at the base of Mountaineer Express along the Deer Hollow run. The Havens occupies the lowest slopeside location along the Jordanelle run near the Jordanelle Gondola. St. Regis provides direct access to Deer Valley skiing from its mountainside location, while Deer Pointe uses a private funicular rather than conventional ski-in/ski-out access.

Rental policies vary by development. St. Regis Deer Valley and The Havens allow nightly rentals, while many other Deer Crest properties have longer minimum-stay requirements, often around five nights.
In 2024, Deer Valley® Resort officially announced the Deer Valley East Village expansion, taking over management and ski operations of what was supposed to be the stand-alone Mayflower Mountain Resort.
The expansion through Deer Valley East Village has significantly increased the amount of ski terrain accessible from the eastern side of the resort. For the 2026–27 ski season, the addition of Hail Peak Express is expected to bring the resort to approximately 4,500 skiable acres and 32 aerial lifts, while the long-term Expanded Excellence plan calls for approximately 5,726 skiable acres at full build-out with additional lifts, runs, skier services, dining, lodging, and residential development and amenities within the Jordanelle and East Village corridors.
Deer Valley is also planning a major transformation of the Snow Park base area, including a new pedestrian village with lodging, dining, retail, structured parking, improved transit, and expanded slopeside access.
These projects are particularly relevant to Deer Crest because the community has gated access from both sides of the mountain. Deer Crest now sits between the growing East Village/Jordanelle side of Deer Valley and the future Snow Park Village on the Park City side, rather than what was historically considered the resort’s “backside.”

Deer Crest property owners may have the opportunity to join the Deer Crest Club, a private ski and social club. Membership provides access to the Deer Crest Club Lounge and amenities at St. Regis Deer Valley, along with privileges such as private ski valet services, ski locker rentals, member events, and preferred pricing on lodging, dining, and services at Remède Spa. Members can also request shuttle service between their Deer Crest residence and The St. Regis Deer Valley.
Club membership is separate from property ownership and limited in availability. Current membership options, costs, and benefits should be confirmed directly with the Deer Crest Club.
Detached homes generally provide larger floor plans, private garages, outdoor living areas, and individual homesites, while the condominium and townhome developments offer varying combinations of shared amenities, services, and maintenance.

Deer Crest is located one mile from downtown Park City, Utah, and within 40 minutes of the Salt Lake International Airport. It can be accessed via two gates – from either Lower Deer Valley or the Mayflower Exit off Highway 40 at the Jordanelle Reservoir.
