This expansive and contiguous ranch runs from its headquarters located on the banks of the Sevier River in the Richfield Valley, up and over the Monroe Mountain Range and through the Fishlake National Forest, and down into the Plateau Valley and State Road 24 near Koosharem Reservoir, a distance of over 12 miles. The connected nature of the deeded lands and over 40,000 acres of grazing permits makes this a ‘no-truck’ cattle operation. The deeded lands include three pastures in the Richfield area at an elevation of around 5,400 feet, but the vast majority of the almost 8,000 acres of private land is located on the Monroe Mountain Range at elevations ranging from 7,300 feet in the Bear Valley area, to over 9,800 feet in the high alpine basin called ‘Henries Hollow’.
