Construction activity remains robust throughout Park City and its surrounding areas. As demand for upscale new construction increases, our market continues to see a surge in new developments, remodels, and even teardowns in desirable parts of town. Most of the new construction is taking place in Canyons Village, Empire Pass Deer Valley, and out by the Jordanelle Reservoir. As you drive through these areas, you will see a mix of hotels, condos, townhomes, and single-family homes. Promontory, The Colony at White Pine Canyon, Tuhaye, and Victory Ranch are the neighborhoods experiencing the highest influx of new single-family home construction. Another hot spot for new construction is the new Deer Valley East Village, formerly known as the Mayflower Resort area. will provide a new access point to Deer Valley’s extended ski terrain from the backside of Deer Valley Resort®. 

It is worth noting that vacant land in proximity to the popular ski terrain is becoming scarce. Old Town is almost built out and King’s Crown, which offers condos, homes, and townhomes, is one of the last ski-in/ski-out developments at the Park City Mountain base area. Over the next decade, the parking lots at Park City Mountain will be transformed to accommodate more skier parking, retail spaces, condominiums, and a four-star hotel at the base of the resort.

Furthermore, we can anticipate further development at the intersection of Highway 40 and Interstate 80 in Silver Creek Village. This location serves as an excellent corridor for many mountain activities, with convenient access to Park City, Salt Lake, and Heber Valley. Townhomes and single-family homes will be available at an affordable price point, surrounded by parks, schools, and small businesses. This area is likely to become another auxiliary hub and an extension of Park City.
