Prospector is a very popular Park City neighborhood for full-time residents and vacationers alike. The area offers many great restaurants, shops and the Silver Mountain Sports Club. The Ski Resorts are all very close and so are hiking/biking trails-offering endless outdoor activities. Park City High School, Treasure Mountain Middle School and McPolin Elementary are all in walking distance.

The US Ski and Snowboard Association's "Center of Excellence" is located just down Kearns Boulevard and so are the National Ability Center, Park City's Ice Rink, and the new Park City Medical Center.
